To be eligible for employment please be sure that you have obtained all the appropriate documentation and permits. Please contact Berlitz Poland before you come to Poland so that we can provide you with the proper documents.

Hiring Procedure

PolandOnce we have received your application, we will contact you regarding an interview. Interviews are held at the language center during regular office hours. If you reside outside of Poland, please inform us as to when you are planning to be in the country so that we can set up a personal interview at the center to which you are applying. Please note that any costs incurred while travelling to the interview are covered by the applicant. After successful completion of the interview process, you will be invited to attend the Berlitz Instructor Training. This will also be held at one of our language centers and is free of charge.

Residence Permit

You must, under Polish law, declare and register yourself with the relevant local authority in your host town or city. This is an important point for tax purposes, etc. Further information regarding addresses, departments or contact people can be obtained locally from Berlitz Language Centers.

Getting Started

Our experience has shown that you will initially need to bring approximately $2,500-$3,000 to budget for acquiring an apartment or similar accommodation, day-to-day living expenses, and miscellaneous expenses that can be incurred. It is necessary to open a bank account on arrival, which facilitates the transfer of monthly salaries, payment of bills, etc.
